Gro One Click Upsell Funnels vs NML Quick Add to Cartfor Shopify (2026)
Gro One Click Upsell Funnels and NML Quick Add to Cart both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV) for Shopify merchants through upsells, but they employ vastly different strategies. Gro One Click Upsell focuses on *post-purchase* upsells presented in a funnel after the checkout process is complete, promising to minimize cart abandonment by avoiding pre-checkout friction. It emphasizes ease of use with AI-powered automation and a customizable editor. In contrast, NML Quick Add to Cart focuses on *pre-purchase* convenience. It allows customers to add products directly from collection pages using AJAX technology and presents upsell recommendations after a product is added to the cart. NML Quick Add to Cart prioritizes streamlining the initial product selection process and leveraging Shopify's auto-generated recommendations. It also boasts unlimited upsell views. Gro One Click Upsell, on the other hand, positions itself as a cart abandonment solution with post-purchase upsells that don’t require re-entry of payment information. The AI-powered upsell funnel and mobile optimization suggest a user-friendly experience. The choice between the two depends heavily on a merchant's risk tolerance for pre-checkout friction and the importance of post-purchase engagement.

Our Verdict
Gro One Click Upsell Funnels is the better choice for merchants primarily concerned about cart abandonment and who prefer a more automated, hands-off approach to upsell selection. The post-purchase, one-click upsell functionality reduces friction and maximizes convenience for returning customers. The higher rating, though based on limited reviews, suggests better initial user experience. NML Quick Add to Cart is suitable for merchants who want to expedite the initial add-to-cart process on collection pages and are content with leveraging Shopify's built-in recommendation engine. This app may be beneficial for stores with a wide variety of products and less concern for potential cart abandonment during the initial selection process.
Ultimately, Gro One Click Upsell appears to offer a more robust and carefully considered upsell strategy, particularly for merchants prioritizing user experience and minimizing cart abandonment. While NML Quick Add to Cart offers a valuable service by speeding up the initial add-to-cart process, its reliance on Shopify's auto-generated recommendations might not be as targeted or effective as the AI-powered funnels of Gro One Click Upsell. Merchants should strongly consider the risk of pre-checkout upselling if they are trying to minimize cart abandonment.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Gro One Click Upsell Funnels claims to be easy to set up, working 'out of the box' with AI automation. NML Quick Add to Cart requires customization of button styles and text, but likely has a simpler setup process overall due to its reliance on Shopify's existing functionality.
Which app is better for reducing cart abandonment?
Gro One Click Upsell Funnels is specifically designed to reduce cart abandonment by offering upsells only *after* the customer has completed their initial purchase. NML Quick Add to Cart does not directly address cart abandonment.
Which app offers more control over the upsell offers?
Gro One Click Upsell Funnels offers both AI-powered automated funnels and the option to create custom rules, giving merchants significant control over the offers presented. NML Quick Add to Cart relies on Shopify's auto-generated recommendations, offering less direct control.
Which app offers reporting and analytics?
NML Quick Add to Cart includes Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel integration for tracking add-to-cart events. Gro One Click Upsell Funnels does not explicitly mention reporting or analytics in the provided description.
Which app is more suitable for stores with a large product catalog?
NML Quick Add to Cart's AJAX add-to-cart functionality might be more beneficial for stores with large catalogs as it allows customers to quickly add products from collection pages without navigating to individual product pages. Gro One Click Upsell Funnels' AI could also adapt to a large catalog, but its primary benefit is post-purchase upselling rather than product discovery.
