Gro One Click Upsell Funnels vs Sample Products ‑‑ Try N Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Gro One Click Upsell Funnels and Sample Products ‑‑ Try N Buy are both highly-rated Shopify apps focused on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through upselling strategies. Gro One Click Upsell Funnels focuses on post-purchase, one-click upsells and downsells, leveraging AI to automate funnel creation while also providing customizable rule-based funnels. Its core strength lies in its streamlined, friction-free approach to upselling after the initial purchase, preventing cart abandonment. It's geared towards any Shopify merchant looking for a hands-off, quick way to boost AOV. Sample Products ‑‑ Try N Buy, on the other hand, centers around offering free product samples based on cart value as an incentive. It’s designed to encourage customers to explore new products and build brand loyalty by allowing them to 'try before they buy.' This app shines particularly for businesses in the cosmetics, healthcare, food supplements, pet products, and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) industries. While both apps aim to increase AOV, they employ significantly different tactics: one using post-purchase impulse buys, the other leveraging the power of product sampling.
