Our Verdict
For merchants needing broad, flexible control over custom data across their entire Shopify store, GrootApps ‑ Custom Metafields is likely the better choice. Its global configuration and repeater field features offer significant power for complex data structures. However, given its limited reviews, careful testing is recommended. If the primary need is to create stylish, easily manageable size charts specifically for product pages, then Size Chart Pro by eKommissar is the more specialized and appropriate tool, despite its lack of reviews. The display flexibility and styling options offer significant advantages in this niche. While the current lack of reviews for Size Chart Pro is a concern, the focused feature set could make it ideal if size chart customization is a priority.
Common Questions
What are the main differences between GrootApps and Size Chart Pro?

Which app is easier to use?
Based on the descriptions, Size Chart Pro may be easier to use for its specific purpose, as it's focused on a single task. GrootApps, being more versatile, might have a steeper learning curve due to the wider range of configurations possible.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, yes. You could use GrootApps to manage general product metafields and Size Chart Pro to handle size chart data specifically. However, careful planning is needed to avoid conflicts or redundancy in data.
Does Size Chart Pro allow me to use images in the size chart?
The description does not explicitly mention image support. Further research or contacting the app developer would be necessary to confirm this feature.
What should I consider before installing either app?
For GrootApps, consider the complexity of your data structure and whether you need the broad range of customization options.
