Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist vs Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flowfor Shopify (2026)
Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist and Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow both cater to Shopify merchants seeking to enhance customer engagement and drive sales through loyalty programs and wishlists. However, they differ significantly in scope and target audience. Growave positions itself as an all-in-one retention platform, encompassing loyalty programs, VIP tiers, referrals, reviews, user-generated content (UGC), and wishlists. It aims at providing a comprehensive solution for customer retention and growth, targeting both DTC and B2B brands, particularly those seeking enterprise-level features with less complexity and full customization capabilities. Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow, on the other hand, focuses primarily on wishlists with marketing features like price drop alerts. It targets merchants who need a powerful and customizable wishlist app with key marketing features like price drop and back-in-stock notifications. Growave emphasizes seamless integration with a wider tech stack (Klaviyo, Gorgias, Attentive, TikTok) and boasts robust support (24/7 technical support, dedicated CSM and AM). This suggests a focus on larger or more complex businesses. Mst prioritizes customization of the wishlist experience itself (liquid template, HTML and CSS) and guest wishlist functionality, indicating a focus on user experience around wishlists specifically and smaller stores that need granular control of the front-end wishlist experience. The significantly higher number of reviews for Growave (1193 vs 151) suggests a broader adoption and potentially a longer market presence, while Mst's lower number of reviews could indicate a newer app or more niche focus.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a comprehensive customer retention platform encompassing loyalty programs, referrals, reviews, UGC, and wishlists, Growave is the superior choice. Its all-in-one approach, extensive integration options, and robust support structure are ideal for growing businesses, especially those on Shopify Plus. Conversely, merchants primarily focused on optimizing the wishlist experience and providing advanced wishlist features (like multiple wishlists, guest wishlists, and highly customizable interfaces) should opt for Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow. Its focused approach and emphasis on customization make it a cost-effective solution for enhancing wishlist functionality. If you don't need a full loyalty suite, Mst offers powerful wishlist features at a potentially lower cost and simpler setup.
