Helium Customer Fields vs Tickr Customer Login Historyfor Shopify (2026)
Helium Customer Fields and Tickr Customer Login History both operate within the 'Accounts and Login' category on the Shopify app store, but they serve distinct purposes. Helium Customer Fields, with a significantly higher number of reviews (225) and a rating of 4.9/5, suggests a broader appeal and more established presence, implying a potential focus on general customer account management. Tickr Customer Login History, on the other hand, is narrowly focused on tracking login activity and offering related features such as bulk discount code generation and email reminders. Its 5/5 rating, while perfect, is based on only 5 reviews, making its overall reliability less certain. Tickr Customer Login History explicitly targets B2B and large stores by providing features to monitor customer logins, export login data for targeted marketing, and generate bulk discount codes, likely offering functionalities around login tracking and customer management more geared towards organizations with complex customer segmentation needs. Helium Customer Fields' positioning is less clear from the available data, but the larger review count indicates it caters to a wider range of merchants. Tickr Customer Login History specifically calls out it's target merchant in it's description. This suggests that their approach is for businesses looking for robust customer login management features.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking for a well-established app with a broader feature set related to customer accounts, Helium Customer Fields is likely the better choice due to its higher review count, suggesting greater reliability and wider adoption. However, its specific functionalities remain unknown from the provided data. On the other hand, if a merchant, especially a B2B or large store, specifically requires detailed login tracking, bulk discount code generation, and email reminder functionalities, Tickr Customer Login History is the more appropriate option, despite having fewer reviews. Its focus on B2B and large stores suggest it is more adept at serving complex customer relationship management needs.
Ultimately, the better choice depends on the merchant's specific needs. If customer login data, marketing promotions and reminders, and data export are central to the merchant's strategy, Tickr Customer Login History wins despite the risk of fewer reviews. If a broader and more general customer account enhancement strategy is desired, Helium Customer Fields is more ideal given the larger review count.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a small business?
Based on the available information, it's difficult to say definitively which app is better for a small business without knowing their specific needs. If a small business needs customer login history and bulk discount codes, then Tickr Customer Login History might be beneficial despite only having 5 reviews. If the small business needs more general customer relationship tools, then Helium Customer Fields with 225 reviews might be better, since it's established and widely used.
Which app is better for B2B businesses?
Tickr Customer Login History is explicitly designed with B2B businesses in mind, making it the better choice for this type of business due to key features like unlimited CSV exports for marketing purposes and bulk email reminders to clients.
Is it risky to choose an app with only 5 reviews?
Choosing an app with only 5 reviews involves a degree of risk. While the app may indeed be excellent (as indicated by the 5/5 rating), the limited number of reviews means that the rating is not statistically significant and may not reflect the experience of a larger user base. It's wise to consider other factors like the vendor's reputation and support resources before making a decision.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it depends on whether there is feature overlap. If Helium Customer Fields does something Tickr Customer Login History does not, and vice versa, then potentially these apps can be used in tandem.
Which app provides more robust marketing features?
Tickr Customer Login History explicitly highlights its marketing-related features, like unlimited CSV exports, bulk discount code generation, and email reminders. This suggests it has more robust marketing capabilities compared to Helium Customer Fields, whose marketing functionalities, if any, are unknown.
