HeloRobo : WhatsApp & LiveChat vs NAPPS | Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
HeloRobo : WhatsApp & LiveChat and NAPPS | Mobile App Builder are both 5-star rated apps in the Shopify app store, but they serve drastically different purposes for online merchants in 2026. HeloRobo positions itself as an all-in-one omnichannel communication and conversational commerce tool, focused on managing customer interactions through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. It aims to boost sales by unifying inboxes, automating responses, and enabling product sharing directly within chat conversations. Conversely, NAPPS | Mobile App Builder empowers merchants to create their own native mobile applications for iOS and Android. While specific features are not provided in the limited data, it's clear that NAPPS focuses on enhancing the mobile shopping experience for customers, likely offering a more branded and potentially feature-rich app environment compared to browser-based shopping. The target audience is likely merchants seeking to build brand loyalty, increase mobile conversions, and provide a superior mobile user experience. HeloRobo, on the other hand, caters to merchants wanting to streamline communication and leverage conversational commerce within existing social media channels. The large difference in number of reviews suggests that NAPPS may be more established.

Our Verdict
The choice between HeloRobo and NAPPS depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs and priorities. HeloRobo is the better choice for merchants primarily focused on leveraging social media channels for customer communication and sales, particularly through WhatsApp. Its unified inbox and automation features can significantly improve customer support and drive revenue through conversational commerce.
Conversely, NAPPS is ideal for merchants who believe a dedicated mobile app will significantly enhance their brand presence and customer experience on mobile devices. This app likely requires a greater investment of time and resources to set up and maintain, but it can deliver a more tailored and potentially higher-converting mobile shopping experience. Given the significant difference in review count, NAPPS appears to be the more widely adopted and potentially more reliable option at this time.
Common Questions
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but their core functionalities are distinct. HeloRobo manages communication within social media channels, while NAPPS creates a standalone mobile app. There might be limited overlap or integration possibilities.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on their descriptions, HeloRobo likely has a shorter learning curve for merchants already active on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. NAPPS, involving mobile app development, may require more technical expertise or reliance on external support.
Which app is more focused on increasing sales?
Both apps aim to boost sales, but through different mechanisms. HeloRobo uses conversational commerce and direct sales within chat, while NAPPS aims to increase mobile conversions through a dedicated app experience.
What are the potential drawbacks of using HeloRobo?
The reliance on third-party platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook) means the merchant is subject to their policies and API changes. Managing multiple channels in a unified inbox can also become complex.
What are the potential drawbacks of using NAPPS?
Building and maintaining a mobile app requires ongoing investment in development, design, and marketing. Attracting users to download and actively use the app can also be a challenge. Given no feature set, we can't gauge level of customizability.
