Helpable vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
Helpable and Relocate+ Order Editor, while both categorized under 'Helpdesk' on Shopify, offer vastly different solutions for merchants. Helpable focuses on proactive, video-based customer service automation, aiming to reduce support ticket volume by providing personalized video guidance. Its strength lies in its potential to modernize customer interaction and reduce costs through automation. Relocate+ Order Editor, on the other hand, empowers customers to self-manage order details (address, products, variants) after purchase, thereby reducing support inquiries and returns due to incorrect order information. It prioritizes customer autonomy and streamlines post-purchase order management. The core difference is one focuses on improving customer support experiences through proactive video assistance, while the other delegates order management control to the customer. In 2026, video-based customer service is trending, while returns still haunt Shopify merchants. Both apps attempt to address these issues.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in 2026, the choice between Helpable and Relocate+ Order Editor depends heavily on their primary needs. If the goal is to elevate customer engagement through innovative, personalized video support and proactively address common customer inquiries, Helpable presents an appealing solution. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating is a significant red flag, requiring thorough due diligence before adoption. If the primary pain point is managing post-purchase order change requests and reducing returns, Relocate+ Order Editor, backed by a perfect rating and positive reviews, is the more reliable choice. Small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) struggling with a high volume of order-related support tickets will likely find Relocate+ Order Editor the more immediately impactful solution. Considering both, for a brand new store with minimal customer base, Helpable is a high-risk, high-reward choice if its service delivers. Otherwise, Relocate+ is much better in 2026.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Helpable claims seamless integration with Shopify, implying ease of setup. Relocate+ Order Editor's ease of use likely depends on the complexity of the rules configured. Without user reviews for Helpable, it's hard to judge which is truly easier to set up in 2026. However, 31 positive reviews for Relocate+ suggest that users do not find this app too hard to use.
Which app is better for reducing support ticket volume?
Both apps aim to reduce support ticket volume, but through different methods. Helpable aims to preemptively answer customer questions with video, while Relocate+ Order Editor lets customers self-resolve order issues. If many tickets are related to customer confusion and common questions, Helpable might be better. If many tickets are about order changes, Relocate+ is a better choice.
Does either app help with international orders?
Relocate+ Order Editor directly addresses changes to shipping addresses, making it relevant for international orders where address errors are common. Helpable's video automations could also be helpful for international customers who have questions, but the app doesn't explicitly focus on international customers.
Which app provides a better return on investment (ROI)?
ROI depends on specific business needs. Helpable's ROI relies on successful video creation and adoption, leading to reduced support costs and increased customer satisfaction. Relocate+ Order Editor's ROI depends on the number of reduced returns and associated savings. Given Relocate+'s proven track record, it is the safer bet to quickly impact ROI, but Helpable may have a better long-term ROI. Still, without more data, this app is simply too risky to justify for most merchants.
Are these apps mutually exclusive, or can they be used together?
The apps are not mutually exclusive. A business could use Helpable to proactively guide customers through common queries and Relocate+ Order Editor to empower them to self-manage order changes, creating a comprehensive customer support experience.
