HelpEcho ‑ Customer Support vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
HelpEcho ‑ Customer Support and Relocate+ Order Editor both aim to improve customer support within a Shopify store, but they address vastly different areas. HelpEcho positions itself as an all-in-one customer support platform, focusing on comprehensive support via an AI chatbot, knowledge base, and ticketing system, aiming to handle a wide range of customer inquiries. Relocate+ Order Editor, on the other hand, focuses on empowering customers to self-manage their orders by editing addresses, products, and other details, reducing the need for direct support requests related to order modifications. The primary difference lies in their approach. HelpEcho is proactive in addressing customer issues across a broader spectrum, while Relocate+ is reactive, preventing issues by allowing customers to fix order errors themselves. HelpEcho is suited for merchants wanting to centralize and automate their overall customer service operations. Relocate+ is ideal for merchants looking to reduce support tickets related to order changes and improve customer satisfaction by offering self-service order management.

Our Verdict
Relocate+ Order Editor, with its strong user reviews and focused functionality, is the better choice for merchants primarily dealing with address change and product modification requests. The app provides a clear ROI by reducing support tickets and increasing customer satisfaction via self-service. HelpEcho, while promising an all-in-one solution, lacks any user reviews. The absence of feedback makes it a riskier option, even though the feature set sounds appealing.
However, if a merchant is seeking a complete help desk solution with AI-powered features and is willing to take a risk on an unproven app, HelpEcho could be considered. If reducing order change requests is the goal, Relocate+ is the clear winner due to existing evidence of positive user experience and effectiveness. If the merchant needs a complete help desk, then further research is recommended for established apps.
Common Questions
Does HelpEcho or Relocate+ better help with reducing support tickets?
Both aim to reduce support tickets, but through different means. HelpEcho uses a knowledge base and AI chatbot to answer questions before tickets are created. Relocate+ empowers customers to resolve order issues themselves, preventing tickets from being created in the first place. Relocate+ is typically faster and more effective at preventing these types of tickets.
Which app is better for automating customer support?
HelpEcho has more built-in automation features, like AI chatbots and automated replies. Relocate+ automates support, but only specifically for order modifications via rule-based customer self-service.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without reviews, it's hard to say definitively. However, Relocate+ is likely easier due to its specific focus. Configuring rules for order editing is less complex than setting up an entire knowledge base and AI chatbot with HelpEcho. HelpEcho is likely to have a larger learning curve due to the multitude of features offered.
Which app offers better value for money?
Relocate+ offers better apparent value. Since HelpEcho has no reviews, there is no evidence that the features are effective and worth the cost. Relocate+ has many positive reviews which suggests the cost is worth the value for users.
If I need help desk features *and* order editing, which app should I use?
Neither app provides both features. You would ideally use Relocate+ for order editing, while finding a different, more established Helpdesk app. A proven alternative is better than taking a risk on the unreviewed HelpEcho app.
