HelpIQ‑AI Customer Support vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
HelpIQ‑AI Customer Support and Relocate+ Order Editor, while both categorized as Helpdesk apps on Shopify, address fundamentally different customer service needs. HelpIQ aims to streamline customer support interactions by leveraging AI to automate responses, provide real-time insights, and offer omnichannel support. This positions it as a comprehensive solution for merchants seeking to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of their customer support team. Relocate+ Order Editor, on the other hand, focuses on empowering customers with self-service order editing capabilities, thereby reducing the volume of support requests related to order modifications. It achieves this through rule-based customization, enabling merchants to define specific parameters for what customers can change and when. The critical difference lies in their approach: HelpIQ centralizes support management with AI assistance, whereas Relocate+ decentralizes it by shifting control to the customer. HelpIQ promises improved agent productivity and faster resolution times, while Relocate+ aims to reduce support ticket volume and enhance customer satisfaction through self-service. These two apps therefore cater to different needs and priorities within the broader spectrum of customer service.

Our Verdict
HelpIQ‑AI Customer Support, despite the current lack of reviews, is designed for larger or rapidly growing businesses that are struggling to manage a high volume of customer support inquiries. Its AI-powered features promise efficiency gains and faster resolution times. However, the absence of reviews and the complexity of integrating AI could be a deterrent for some.
Relocate+ Order Editor is a more targeted solution suitable for stores that frequently deal with customer requests to modify orders. Its self-service approach can significantly reduce support ticket volume and improve customer satisfaction. Given its strong rating and positive reviews, Relocate+ appears to be a more reliable choice for merchants prioritizing self-service order management and immediate impact, especially given the unknown performance of HelpIQ's AI without user feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Relocate+ Order Editor likely has a simpler setup process due to its rule-based system. HelpIQ‑AI Customer Support, with its AI-powered features and omnichannel integration, might require more configuration.
Which app is better for reducing support ticket volume?
Relocate+ Order Editor is specifically designed to reduce support ticket volume by empowering customers to edit their orders themselves. HelpIQ aims to improve the handling of existing tickets but doesn't inherently reduce the number of tickets received.
Which app is better for improving agent productivity?
HelpIQ‑AI Customer Support directly targets agent productivity through AI-driven conversation summaries, response suggestions, and team collaboration tools. Relocate+ indirectly improves agent productivity by reducing the number of tickets they need to handle.
Which app is more suitable for a small business?
Relocate+ Order Editor is likely a more suitable starting point for a small business due to its focused functionality, ease of setup, and proven track record (based on reviews). HelpIQ might be overkill for a small business with a manageable support volume.
Can HelpIQ and Relocate+ be used together?
While theoretically possible, it's unlikely that both apps are needed simultaneously. Relocate+ addresses a specific need (order editing), and if that's adequately handled, HelpIQ's general support features may become less critical. Using both might create redundant functionalities.
