Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Herodesk is the safer and more recommendable choice for Shopify merchants seeking a helpdesk solution in 2026. It has positive user reviews, a clear value proposition, and confirmed Shopify integration. Its focus on simplicity and affordability makes it particularly appealing to small and mid-sized businesses. Sobot Live Chat & Chatbot, with its lack of reviews and unclear feature set, presents a significant risk. Until user reviews or more information become available, it's difficult to recommend it over Herodesk. If a merchant is feeling adventurous and has significant technical expertise in troubleshooting potentially unstable software, they could consider trialing Sobot, but with caution. Otherwise, Herodesk is the clear winner.
