Hextom: Bulk Product Edit vs SyncWith Google Sheets, Lookerfor Shopify (2026)
Hextom: Bulk Product Edit and SyncWith Google Sheets, Looker serve distinctly different needs for Shopify merchants. Hextom focuses on efficient bulk editing of product data, metafields, customer information, and orders directly within Shopify. It emphasizes speed, accuracy, and ease of use, particularly for merchants handling large catalogs or needing to make frequent, large-scale changes. Its primary value proposition is saving time and reducing errors associated with manual data entry and modification. SyncWith Google Sheets, Looker, on the other hand, targets merchants who rely heavily on data analysis and reporting outside of Shopify's native interface. It exports Shopify data to Google Sheets and Looker Studio, allowing users to build custom reports for sales, inventory, marketing performance, and ad spend ROI. Its strength lies in providing deeper insights and customizable views of business data, rather than direct data manipulation within Shopify. SyncWith is suited for merchants already comfortable with spreadsheets and data analysis tools.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with efficiently managing and updating product catalogs, customer data, or order information directly within Shopify, Hextom: Bulk Product Edit is the superior choice. Its high rating, large number of reviews, and emphasis on ease of use make it a reliable solution for saving time and reducing errors. However, if a merchant's priority is gaining deeper insights into their Shopify data through custom reports and analysis in Google Sheets or Looker Studio, then SyncWith Google Sheets, Looker is the better fit. Despite the lower rating and fewer reviews, it offers specialized functionality for data export and analysis that Hextom does not provide.
In essence, Hextom is for operational efficiency, while SyncWith is for strategic decision-making based on data insights.
