Hextom: Free Shipping Bar vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
Hextom: Free Shipping Bar and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator both offer solutions related to increasing sales and customizing the customer experience, but they approach it from entirely different angles. Hextom focuses specifically on leveraging free shipping promotions to increase average order value. It's a mature app with a large user base and strong reviews, highlighting its effectiveness and ease of use for creating and managing free shipping bars with advanced targeting options. Its strength lies in its specific focus and pre-built functionality for free shipping promotions. SupaEasy, on the other hand, positions itself as a solution for creating highly customized functions for discounts, shipping, payment, and validation, particularly in light of the deprecation of Shopify Scripts. SupaEasy targets Shopify merchants, especially those on Shopify Plus or those seeking advanced customization beyond basic Shopify settings. It distinguishes itself through the use of AI to generate these functions, making complex customization more accessible. While SupaEasy boasts a perfect rating and a ShopTank win, its significantly lower review count suggests a newer app with a smaller user base. The app aims at functionality for the Shopify Functions API, which is for more technical merchants or those needing to migrate away from using scripts. Ultimately, Hextom offers an easy-to-use, focused solution for free shipping promotions, while SupaEasy provides a powerful, flexible platform for building highly customized checkout experiences via Shopify Functions.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to quickly and easily implement and manage free shipping promotions to boost sales, Hextom: Free Shipping Bar is the clear winner. Its established user base, high rating, and specific focus make it a reliable and effective choice. However, for Shopify Plus merchants or those with a strong need for highly customized checkout experiences beyond what standard Shopify settings provide, SupaEasy: AI Functions creator is the better option. Its AI-powered function generation and focus on Shopify Functions offer unparalleled flexibility, though it may require a higher level of technical understanding. If you just need to get a free shipping bar running, the choice is Hextom; if you are deeply technical and need to create specialized cart/checkout flows, SupaEasy is better.
