Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push vs PushBot: Web Push Notificationfor Shopify (2026)
Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push and PushBot: Web Push Notification both cater to Shopify merchants looking to enhance customer engagement, but they differ significantly in their approach and scope. Hextom positions itself as a comprehensive communication platform, encompassing WhatsApp, SMS, and push notifications. Its high rating (4.7/5) and substantial number of reviews (280) suggest strong customer satisfaction and reliability. PushBot, on the other hand, focuses solely on web push notifications, emphasizing automation and targeted messaging for different stages of the sales funnel. While PushBot offers features like automated abandoned cart recovery, welcome notifications, and customer segmentation, its lower rating (4.4/5) and significantly fewer reviews (18) indicate that it may be a newer or less established option. The key differentiator lies in the communication channels offered; Hextom provides multi-channel capabilities, while PushBot specializes in web push notifications. Therefore, the choice depends on whether a merchant needs a comprehensive communication solution or a dedicated web push notification tool.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a holistic communication strategy across multiple channels, Hextom: WhatsApp, SMS & Push is the more suitable choice. Its higher rating and larger user base suggest greater reliability and satisfaction. However, if a merchant's primary focus is on leveraging web push notifications specifically to automate communication at different stages of the sales funnel and segment customers based on activity, then PushBot: Web Push Notification could be a valuable tool. Merchants should consider the scale of their communication needs and their specific marketing goals when making their decision. Hextom is likely more beneficial for larger stores needing wide reach. Pushbot is better for smaller stores needing a more focused targeted notification solution.
