Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter vs Irisphera ‑ Fit & Tryfor Shopify (2026)
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter and Irisphera ‑ Fit & Try both aim to improve the customer experience on Shopify stores, but they cater to vastly different needs and industries. Hey!Scarcity focuses on driving sales by leveraging urgency and scarcity through dynamic stock level displays. Its strength lies in creating a sense of FOMO (fear of missing out) by showing limited stock, countdown timers, and low inventory alerts, appealing to merchants looking for a quick conversion boost. In contrast, Irisphera tackles the challenges of fit and style in the fashion industry. Irisphera focuses on enhancing customer confidence and reducing returns in the fashion industry through personalized style recommendations. Its core value proposition revolves around creating 3D avatars, analyzing body shapes and color palettes, and offering tailored clothing suggestions. This positions it as a solution for apparel merchants seeking to improve customer satisfaction, increase purchase confidence, and reduce returns by providing a virtual fitting room experience. While both aim to increase conversions, they do so using radically different approaches aligned with specific product categories.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling products where scarcity is a major purchase driver (e.g., limited edition items, trending products), Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the clear choice. The app has proven its value through a significant number of positive reviews. Its focus on urgency and ease of implementation makes it a compelling option.
Irisphera, despite the lack of reviews, addresses a very specific need within the fashion industry. If high return rates due to sizing issues and a desire to provide a personalized shopping experience are primary concerns, Irisphera is worth exploring. However, given the absence of user reviews, a thorough trial period and careful consideration of the potential integration complexity are essential.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter appears to be easier to set up. It focuses on configuring display elements related to stock levels, whereas Irisphera involves integrating 3D avatar creation, body measurement analysis, and style recommendations, suggesting a more complex setup process.
Which app is more likely to increase average order value?
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter may indirectly increase average order value by encouraging customers to purchase more items to avoid missing out on a scarce product. Irisphera's personalized recommendations may also contribute to a higher average order value by suggesting complementary items that fit the customer's style and body shape.
Which app provides more valuable data insights?
Irisphera provides more valuable data insights regarding target audience body shapes, color preferences, and size distributions. This data can inform inventory planning and product development decisions. Hey!Scarcity provides data on which products are generating the most urgency, but the data is more limited.
Which app is better suited for a dropshipping store?
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter could be useful if you want to indicate a limited-time deal, but you must ensure the 'scarcity' is genuinely accurate, and your dropshipping supplier can handle the demand. Irisphera is less suited to a dropshipping store because it requires products to be highly fit specific, and potentially higher shipping complexity with different sizes and fits.
Could both apps be used together?
Potentially, if a fashion store wanted to apply urgency to their limited collections, and use Irisphera for size recommendation. However, be aware of your customer experience - too many widgets or alerts may annoy customers.
