Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter vs NML Product Comparefor Shopify (2026)
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter and NML Product Compare are both Shopify apps related to product display, but they address vastly different needs. Hey!Scarcity focuses on creating urgency and driving conversions by displaying stock levels and countdowns on product pages. Its primary strength lies in leveraging psychological triggers like scarcity to encourage faster purchasing decisions. It's geared toward merchants looking to boost sales through persuasive marketing tactics. NML Product Compare, on the other hand, judging from its name and the fact that very little data is provided, likely aims to allow customers to compare products side-by-side, enabling informed purchasing decisions. Given the almost non-existent reviews and rating of NML Product Compare, and the abundance of positive reviews for Hey!Scarcity, there's a significant disparity in user perception and presumably, app performance. Hey!Scarcity is positioned as a conversion optimization tool, while NML Product Compare seems to serve a more informational purpose. Merchants seeking to directly influence purchase behavior using scarcity tactics will find Hey!Scarcity more immediately useful. The lack of available information on NML Product Compare makes it difficult to assess its quality, feature set, and overall suitability for merchants.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants, Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the safer and more immediately impactful choice. Its positive rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a well-functioning and well-received app. If your primary goal is to increase sales through the use of scarcity and urgency, Hey!Scarcity is clearly the better option.
NML Product Compare *could* be a valuable tool for merchants with extensive product catalogs needing a comparison feature. However, given the extremely limited user feedback and lack of descriptive information, it's difficult to recommend without further investigation. Merchants should proceed with caution and potentially seek alternatives with more established reputations and comprehensive feature sets if product comparison is a priority.
