Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter vs Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Downfor Shopify (2026)
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter and Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down, while both aiming to improve product presentation, address vastly different aspects of the online shopping experience. Hey!Scarcity focuses on driving sales through urgency by visually highlighting low stock levels using counters, labels, and animations. Its strength lies in creating a sense of scarcity and encouraging immediate purchases. It's best suited for merchants looking to actively influence customer behavior and increase conversion rates through psychological triggers. Pushy, on the other hand, prioritizes a cleaner and more organized storefront by automatically moving out-of-stock products to the bottom of collection pages. It enhances the user experience by ensuring that in-stock items are always prominently displayed, reducing frustration and potentially leading to more sales by guiding shoppers to available products. The core difference lies in their approach. Hey!Scarcity is about actively creating urgency, while Pushy is about passively improving the shopping experience by tidying up the product listings. Hey!Scarcity leverages features like stock counters and limited stock alerts. Pushy concentrates on automatic management of product visibility based on inventory status, thus saving merchant time and providing a better shopping experience for customers who might otherwise encounter numerous out-of-stock items while browsing. The choice between the two depends on the merchant's priorities: immediate sales boosts vs. long-term customer experience optimization.

Hey!Scarcity to boost sales of products nearing depletion, and Pushy to ensure a clean browsing experience by minimizing the visibility of unavailable items.
