Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter vs Size Wise ‑ Size Chart & Guidefor Shopify (2026)
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter and Size Wise ‑ Size Chart & Guide are both Shopify apps focusing on product display, but they address fundamentally different aspects of the online shopping experience. Hey!Scarcity aims to boost conversions by creating a sense of urgency and scarcity through dynamic displays of inventory levels. The core difference lies in their value proposition. Hey!Scarcity offers a straightforward widget to manipulate consumer behavior via perceived scarcity. Size Wise, however, offers a multifaceted system for improving product fit, therefore customer satisfaction, and decreasing costly returns. App 1 appeals to those seeking a simple, quick-win solution. App 2 appeals to retailers for whom returns and sizing questions are a significant pain point. The disparity in reviews (124 for Hey!Scarcity vs. 0 for Size Wise) suggests that Hey!Scarcity has significantly more established user base, indicating possibly easier usability and/or a stronger perceived value.

For merchants seeking a quick and easy way to potentially increase sales by creating a sense of urgency around limited stock, Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter appears to be the better choice, supported by its positive reviews and focus on simplicity. However, merchants struggling with high return rates due to sizing issues and looking for a long-term solution focused on customer satisfaction should strongly consider Size Wise ‑ Size Chart & Guide. Even with the lack of current reviews, its core features directly address a critical pain point in the apparel and accessories market. A merchant may even consider using BOTH, if their product lines and store strategy align.
