Hide Payment & Shipping iWeb vs TryOnify: Try Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Hide Payment & Shipping iWeb and TryOnify: Try Before You Buy are both 5-star rated Shopify apps in the 'Payment options - Other' category, but they address fundamentally different aspects of the checkout experience. Hide Payment & Shipping iWeb focuses on customizing the presentation of payment and shipping options to streamline the checkout process and improve customer satisfaction by tailoring the available methods. It aims to increase conversion rates through personalization and ease of use by offering control over how payment gateways and shipping methods are displayed, ordered, and filtered based on various conditions. TryOnify: Try Before You Buy, on the other hand, introduces a novel payment model allowing customers to try products before committing to a purchase. It directly tackles cart abandonment by removing immediate payment friction. It effectively offers a 'Try Now, Pay Later' solution, which differentiates it from typical 'Buy Now, Pay Later' models by deferring payment entirely during the trial period. Our Verdict
Hide Payment & Shipping iWeb is the better choice for merchants who want granular control over the checkout process and aim to optimize the customer experience by customizing payment and shipping options based on specific criteria. This is ideal for stores with a complex product catalog, diverse customer base, or specific shipping requirements. The goal is to refine the checkout flow for existing customers by offering relevant options.
TryOnify: Try Before You Buy, on the other hand, is best suited for merchants prioritizing customer acquisition and combating cart abandonment. It's particularly compelling for high-value items, clothing, or any product where customers might hesitate due to uncertainty. Its "Try Now, Pay Later" approach effectively removes payment friction, allowing customers to experience the product before committing financially. This can result in increased sales and customer loyalty. However, the limited number of reviews might suggest it's still relatively new to the market compared to Hide Payment & Shipping iWeb.
