Hide Price vs Wholesale Discount Pro B2B Appfor Shopify (2026)
Hide Price and Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App both operate within the 'Pricing quotes' category on the Shopify App Store, but they target different needs within that space. Hide Price focuses specifically on gating price and 'Add to Cart' visibility behind a login requirement, primarily to collect customer data and potentially cater to B2B wholesalers who want to control access to pricing information. Its core function is to restrict access unless a user is logged in. The app aims to enable price hiding and customization on both product and collection pages. On the other hand, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App, while sharing the 'Pricing quotes' category, likely offers a broader suite of features related to wholesale pricing, discounts, and B2B functionality based on its name. While specific features aren't detailed, the app is positioned toward providing tools for B2B merchants. A key differentiator is the existing user validation based on its 5/5 rating with eight reviews, suggesting users have successfully implemented and valued the app's features. Hide Price, by contrast, currently has no reviews or rating, posing a significant risk for merchants concerned about usability and performance.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with collecting leads and controlling access to pricing information on a product-by-product or collection-by-collection basis, Hide Price *could* be an option, but the lack of reviews presents significant risk. If the core requirement is simply to hide the price for certain users and drive signups, Hide Price could be assessed; however, given the limited information and lack of reviews it is inherently a risky option. It would need careful testing and validation.
Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App is the clear choice for B2B merchants needing a reliable and validated solution for managing wholesale discounts and other B2B features. Its 5/5 rating and eight reviews demonstrate that other merchants have successfully implemented and found value in the app. While the precise features of Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App are not fully defined, the user reviews suggest a more reliable solution for B2B functionality than Hide Price.
