Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Preorder, Back in stock Duck claims setup takes only a few minutes and offers 24/7 human support, suggesting potentially easier setup and ongoing assistance. Stockyphi claims no coding is required which indicates a streamlined set-up process, but this is not necessarily easier than the pre-order option.
Can both apps be used simultaneously?
Potentially, but with careful configuration. Stockyphi hides sold-out items, while Preorder, Back in stock Duck aims to sell them as pre-orders or capture back-in-stock interest. Using both would require ensuring Stockyphi doesn't hide products targeted for pre-order or back-in-stock notifications.
Which app is better for a small store with limited inventory?
Preorder, Back in stock Duck might be more beneficial, as it focuses on maximizing sales from each product, even when out of stock. The benefits from Hide Sold Out, while still existent, are less impactful without a larger inventory to manage.
Does either app offer analytics?
Neither app explicitly mentions analytics in the descriptions provided, but the 'Notify me' feature of Preorder, Back in stock Duck allows for easy analysis of customer demand for currently unavailable products.
Which app has more robust customer support?
Preorder, Back in stock Duck highlights '24/7 human-only live-chat support', indicating a strong focus on customer assistance. Stockyphi mentions email and Slack integration for notifications, but nothing directly about customer support.
