Our Verdict
HIKO Social Login is more suitable for merchants who prioritize a personalized user experience, customer data collection, and integration with marketing automation tools. Its focus on gathering essential information and offering flexible integration options makes it ideal for businesses aiming to enhance customer interactions and personalize marketing campaigns. However, the exclusive support for legacy accounts might limit its usability for some stores.
Open SignIn ‑ Social Login is a better choice for merchants seeking a simple, easy-to-implement solution with broad support for various social login platforms. Its single-click installation and support for Multipass make it particularly appealing to Shopify Plus stores that want to quickly increase signup conversions without complex configurations. The lack of explicit data collection features might be a drawback for merchants prioritizing customer data acquisition.
