HIKO Social Login vs Prizma OTP Login with WhatsAppfor Shopify (2026)
Both HIKO Social Login and Prizma OTP Login with WhatsApp aim to streamline the login experience for Shopify customers. HIKO Social Login positions itself as a comprehensive solution for social login and data collection, emphasizing customization and integration with marketing platforms. Its core strength lies in supporting a vast array of social login options (20+) and integrating with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, and Contlo. However, a crucial limitation is its exclusive support for legacy customer accounts. Prizma OTP Login with WhatsApp, on the other hand, focuses on speed and security, prioritizing OTP-based authentication through SMS, WhatsApp, and email. It is positioned as a hassle-free alternative to traditional passwords. The target audience differs significantly. HIKO is aimed at merchants who are willing to manage legacy customer data and want to collect rich customer data points during signup and integrate this with their marketing tools. Its strength is a wider range of social logins and marketing integrations, balanced by the legacy account limitation. Prizma targets merchants wanting a quick and modern passwordless login that offers an easy setup and integrates well with mobile users through whatsapp and SMS. The low review count, however, should be considered. HIKO emphasizes a comprehensive experience, while Prizma focuses on simplified authentication.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a wide range of social login options, strong marketing platform integrations, and extensive data collection, HIKO Social Login is the better choice, *provided* they are working with legacy customer accounts. However, the legacy account limitation is significant. If a modern, passwordless experience emphasizing speed and mobile convenience is preferred, and SMS/WhatsApp login is key, Prizma OTP Login with WhatsApp is more suitable. The caveat is the relatively low review count, implying lower user base and potentially less mature support. For merchants starting from scratch with new customer accounts Prizma may be a simpler path. HIKO would need significant planning, due to its limitations.
