HIKO Social Login vs TGL Registration Form Builderfor Shopify (2026)
HIKO Social Login and TGL Registration Form Builder, while both in the 'Accounts and Login' Shopify category, cater to distinct needs. HIKO Social Login focuses on simplifying the login process for customers by offering multiple options, including social media accounts, Google One Tap Login, and email links. It aims to enhance personalization by collecting essential customer data and integrating with marketing platforms. The strength of HIKO lies in its ease of use, broad social media login support, and marketing integrations. In contrast, TGL Registration Form Builder is designed for merchants requiring more control over customer account creation. It allows for the creation of custom registration forms with a drag-and-drop builder, approval workflows, and email notifications. It's particularly suited for B2B stores, stores requiring gated access, or event registration. TGL offers a way to vet customers and gather specific data before granting access. However, its very low review count and poor rating of 2.5 indicate potential issues with the app or lack of user satisfaction at its current form. HIKO has significantly more positive feedback and is clearly targeting merchants who need to streamline the login process rather than create complex registration workflows.

Our Verdict
For most standard Shopify stores looking to improve the login experience and integrate with marketing platforms, HIKO Social Login is the clear winner. Its high rating and significant number of positive reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly app. The social login functionality also streamlines the user onboarding process.
However, if your business requires stricter control over who creates an account, needs to gather very specific information during registration (e.g. for B2B compliance), or wants to manually approve new customers, TGL Registration Form Builder *could* be a viable option. However, its very low rating and review count are red flags and suggests you should seek alternative form builders with better customer satisfaction. It is recommended to look elsewhere for a form builder app, since TGL Registration Form Builder has such negative reviews.
