HIKO Social Login vs VTN Customer Dashboardfor Shopify (2026)
HIKO Social Login and VTN Customer Dashboard, both boasting perfect 5/5 ratings, cater to distinct needs within the 'Accounts and Login' category on Shopify. HIKO Social Login focuses on streamlining the login process and gathering customer data. Its strength lies in offering a variety of social login options and integrations with marketing platforms, aiming to simplify account creation and enrichment for merchants. VTN Customer Dashboard, on the other hand, centers on enhancing the post-login customer experience by providing a more feature-rich and customizable dashboard. The core difference lies in their primary function. HIKO Social Login is a login facilitator and data collector, prioritizing ease of access and marketing data. It aims to decrease friction during account creation and populate marketing platforms. VTN Customer Dashboard aims to improve the existing customer dashboard with additional functionality, such as more robust profile management and order tracking. Choosing between the two depends on whether the merchant wants to optimize their customer login flow or improve their customers' account management experience. HIKO Social Login, however, is constrained by its support for only legacy customer accounts, which would be a significant hindrance in 2026. This limitation positions VTN Customer Dashboard as the superior solution for forward-looking merchants.

Our Verdict
VTN Customer Dashboard is likely the better choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026 due to its focus on modern customer dashboards and future compatibility. The support for only legacy customer accounts severely limits HIKO Social Login's usefulness in the long term. If a merchant specifically wants to reduce friction during account creation using social logins and has existing legacy customer accounts to support (and can live with that constraint), HIKO Social Login might be considered.
However, VTN Customer Dashboard enhances the existing customer experience by adding profile management capabilities, order tracking, and UI customization, making it a more comprehensive solution for improving overall customer satisfaction and engagement. Given the choice, VTN Customer Dashboard provides more value and future-proof functionality for the majority of Shopify stores.
