Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in a simple and straightforward way to implement a progress bar for free shipping, discounts, or gifts, Hitsy Progress Bar is the better choice. Its focused functionality and presumably easier setup make it ideal for stores that don't need the added complexity of upsells, cross-sells, and abandoned cart recovery. It can be deployed with less hassle and still effectively increase AOV through targeted rewards.
However, merchants who want a comprehensive cart optimization solution should opt for Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer. While it may require more initial setup and learning, its wider range of features, including upsells, cross-sells, abandoned cart recovery, and urgency timers, offers a more robust and potentially higher-yielding approach to improving AOV and conversion rates. The substantial difference in review count suggests Opus has a much broader user base and potentially more proven track record.
