H‑Lab: Collection's Cross Sell and VQB: AI Product Quiz Builder both operate within the 'Upsell and bundles - Other' Shopify category, but their approaches to increasing sales are vastly different. H‑Lab focuses on cross-selling related products within collections, aiming to boost order value through immediately visible recommendations. Our Verdict
VQB: AI Product Quiz Builder is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026, especially those focused on providing personalized experiences, capturing zero-party data, and integrating with existing marketing automation platforms. The overwhelmingly positive reviews and robust feature set justify its use for stores willing to invest in a data-driven approach.
H‑Lab: Collection's Cross Sell might be suitable only for merchants with very specific needs such as having a Debut theme, needing extremely simple collection-based cross-selling, and not planning to invest time in configuration and integrations. However, the low rating and lack of reviews suggest potential risks, and other apps providing similar functionality with better track records should be investigated before committing to H‑Lab.
