Our Verdict
The choice between HOOK Social Login and SMS Alert depends entirely on the merchant's priorities. If the goal is to reduce friction in the signup process and provide a seamless user experience with social login, HOOK Social Login is the clear choice, especially given its high rating and positive reviews. However, if the focus is on proactive customer communication, enhanced security through OTP, and adherence to SMS regulations (particularly in India), then SMS Alert, despite its lower rating, provides more relevant functionality. Smaller store owners who are not yet concerned with security might find HOOK more beneficial.
