Our Verdict
Metafields Guru is the clear winner for most merchants in 2026 who need robust and reliable metafield management across their entire Shopify store. Its high rating and numerous reviews suggest a well-developed and user-friendly application. The ability to manage metafields in bulk, export/import data, and display them without coding makes it a powerful tool for merchants of all sizes. Howdy New Customer Profile, with its lack of reviews and narrow focus on the new customer profile page, might be a fit for a *very* specific niche of merchants who only need that particular functionality and are willing to take a risk on an unproven app. Until Howdy New Customer Profile gains traction and demonstrates its value, Metafields Guru is the safer and more comprehensive choice.
