Our Verdict
For merchants looking to create a visually appealing gallery that doubles as a sales tool by directly linking images to product pages with filtered search, Howdy Photo Gallery and Filter is the better option. The popup product modal is a unique feature for driving sales. However, the low review count is a potential risk. For merchants who prioritize enhancing product previews on listing and detail pages with dynamic hover effects and animations, SB Product Image Hover Effect is more suitable. The higher review count suggests greater user satisfaction and stability. Therefore, selection depends on whether you want to create an engaging product gallery or simply enhance product images on existing pages.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
SB Product Image Hover Effect likely has an easier initial setup due to its focus on simple enable/disable settings. Howdy Photo Gallery and Filter requires uploading images, tagging them, and linking them to products, which is a more involved process, though its streamlined popup to the product page might justify the effort.
Which app is better for increasing sales?
Howdy Photo Gallery and Filter is designed to directly drive sales with its product popup on image click. SB Product Image Hover Effect indirectly increases sales by enhancing product presentation and potentially improving conversion rates.
Which app is better for brand building?
