HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX vs Magepow Infinite Scrollfor Shopify (2026)
HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX and Magepow Infinite Scroll, while both categorized under 'Site optimization - Other' in the Shopify app store, address drastically different aspects of website improvement. HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX attempts to improve SEO by adding meta keywords to HTML source code. However, the usefulness of meta keywords for SEO is highly debated and generally considered obsolete by major search engines like Google. Magepow Infinite Scroll, on the other hand, focuses on enhancing the user experience (UX) by providing continuous scrolling on collection and blog pages, potentially increasing engagement and sales. The primary distinction lies in their impact areas: one aims for SEO improvements through a questionable method, while the other directly enhances the shopping experience. HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX is targeting merchants hoping to gain an edge in search rankings through meta keywords, while Magepow Infinite Scroll aims to boost conversion rates by improving site navigation and product discovery. Further, the significant difference in ratings and review numbers suggests a disparity in user satisfaction and perceived value between the two apps. Given modern SEO practices, the value proposition of HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX is considerably weaker than that of Magepow Infinite Scroll. The latter likely offers a more tangible and direct benefit to online store owners.

Our Verdict
Magepow Infinite Scroll is the clear winner for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its focus on improving user experience by streamlining product browsing offers a tangible benefit that aligns with current best practices in e-commerce. The app's high rating and significantly larger number of reviews further support its effectiveness and user satisfaction.
While HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX might seem appealing to merchants seeking quick SEO fixes, the actual impact of meta keywords on search engine rankings is highly questionable. In a world where search engines prioritize content quality, user experience, and technical SEO, focusing on meta keywords is a misallocation of resources. Therefore, unless a merchant has a specific, validated reason to believe that meta keywords are critical for their niche, Magepow Infinite Scroll is the far more sensible and effective choice.
