HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX vs SEO On: AEO optimizer LLMs.txtfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants deciding between "HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX" and "SEO On: AEO optimizer LLMs.txt" face a clear choice. "HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX" focuses on adding meta keywords to various pages, claiming to improve organic search ranking. However, with a very low rating of 2.1/5 based on only 4 reviews, it indicates potential issues with functionality, ease of use, or customer support. In contrast, "SEO On: AEO optimizer LLMs.txt" boasts a perfect 5/5 rating from a substantial 171 reviews, suggesting a much higher level of user satisfaction. While both fall under the "Site optimization - Other" category, their actual functionalities appear quite different. The specific functionalities of "SEO On" aren't completely clear from the title, but it appears to use LLMs (Large Language Models) which indicates a more advanced, potentially AI-driven approach to SEO, compared to the simple addition of Meta Keywords. The key difference lies in user perception and the underlying technology. "HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX" relies on a traditional, arguably outdated SEO tactic (meta keywords) which search engines give very little, if any weight to. The poor rating and few reviews raise red flags about the app's performance and reliability. "SEO On" seems to offer a more modern, potentially more effective SEO solution leveraging AI, as reflected in its overwhelmingly positive user feedback and focus on AEO (App Engine Optimization?). The number of reviews for 'SEO On' suggests a much broader user base and greater confidence in the app's ability to deliver results.

"HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX" might be considered only by merchants with a specific need to manually add meta keywords, and who are aware of the limited SEO value of this practice. However, even in that niche scenario, the app's low rating and few reviews should raise serious concerns about its functionality and support. It's difficult to recommend "HTML Meta Keywords Builder EX" to any Shopify merchant, given the availability of seemingly far superior alternatives like "SEO On."
