Both Hulk Advanced Wishlist and Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow are robust Shopify apps designed to enhance the customer experience and drive sales through wishlist functionality. Both apps offer core features such as multiple wishlists, sharing capabilities, and customization options. However, Hulk Advanced Wishlist positions itself as an 'all-in-one' solution emphasizing sales recovery and B2B/B2C support with features like automated stock alerts and Shopify Flow integration. Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow, on the other hand, leans towards extensive customization and broader compatibility with features like API and headless theme support, multi-language, and multi-currency capabilities. While both cater to a wide range of merchants, Hulk Advanced Wishlist seems geared towards businesses seeking ready-to-use marketing automation and seamless integration with existing Shopify infrastructure. Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow appears better suited for merchants requiring highly customized solutions, multi-national support, or those utilizing headless themes, prioritizing deep customization of their wishlist functionality to perfectly align with their brand identity and technical architecture. Both apps focus on improving customer retention and increasing conversions through wishlists, but they approach this goal with different feature sets and target different technical skill levels.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing ease of use, out-of-the-box marketing automation, and seamless integration with Shopify's ecosystem, especially those with B2B or B2C models, Hulk Advanced Wishlist is the stronger choice. Its emphasis on sales recovery through automated notifications and Shopify Flow integration provides immediate value. The slightly higher rating, although with fewer reviews, suggests a positive user experience.
However, for merchants with advanced customization needs, international customers, or using a headless Shopify setup, Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow is the better option. Its API support, liquid templating, and multi-language/currency capabilities offer unparalleled control and flexibility. While the rating is slightly lower, the larger number of reviews suggests a more established user base and potentially more community support.
