Our Verdict
For established Shopify stores with a desire for a fully featured, highly customizable wishlist app, especially those with B2B clients or a need for advanced marketing automation, Hulk Advanced Wishlist is the better choice. While it may have a steeper learning curve, the comprehensive features and integrations, like Shopify Flow, offer significant potential for increased conversions and customer retention. The higher number of reviews provides more confidence in its overall performance and reliability.
For new or smaller Shopify stores focused on simplicity and ease of use, Wishlist by Square is likely the more suitable option. Its one-click save functionality and automatic tracking without customer accounts minimizes friction for both the merchant and the customer. It provides a quick and easy way to implement a wishlist feature and understand basic shopper interest without requiring significant configuration or technical expertise. However, be aware of the much lower review count and weigh that against the higher rating.
