Huski Product Sample & memo vs Resell Pro ‑ collect bidsfor Shopify (2026)
Huski Product Sample & memo and Resell Pro ‑ collect bids are both Shopify apps in the 'Pricing quotes' category, but they address vastly different customer needs and business models. Huski focuses on increasing customer satisfaction and reducing returns by enabling merchants to offer product samples before purchase. Its core strength lies in providing a 'try before you buy' experience, appealing to customers who want to assess product quality before committing to a full purchase. Resell Pro, on the other hand, aims to attract bargain hunters and create a dynamic pricing environment by allowing customers to bid on products. Its strength is in generating interest and potentially maximizing revenue through competitive bidding, targeting merchants looking to experiment with a more unconventional pricing strategy. The key difference lies in their approaches to pricing and customer acquisition. Huski aims to reduce risk for customers, potentially increasing conversion rates and long-term loyalty. Resell Pro introduces an element of gamification and price discovery, which might be more appealing to price-sensitive customers or those looking for deals on unique items. However, Resell Pro carries the risk of lower average selling prices and requires careful management of bids. Huski has some user feedback, while Resell Pro currently lacks any user ratings or reviews, indicating that it is either new or less widely adopted.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling products where a 'try before you buy' experience is highly valuable, such as cosmetics, apparel, or food items, Huski Product Sample & memo appears to be the more suitable option. Its positive user reviews, combined with its focus on customer satisfaction and reduced returns, make it a less risky choice. Resell Pro ‑ collect bids is better suited for merchants looking to experiment with unconventional pricing strategies and attract price-sensitive customers. If the merchant has high brand recognition and wants to start generating more sales, this could be a great option. However, given the lack of user reviews and the potential complexities of managing a bidding system, merchants should carefully consider their pricing strategy and be prepared for a steeper learning curve before implementation.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on their descriptions, both apps claim to be easy to set up, with Huski mentioning 'simple to set up and manage' and Resell Pro stating 'No coding required.' However, Huski has user reviews indicating real-world ease of use, while Resell Pro lacks this validation.
Which app is more likely to increase sales?
Huski aims to increase sales by increasing customer satisfaction and reducing hesitancy to purchase. Resell Pro aims to increase sales by attracting price-sensitive customers and generating interest through bidding. The actual impact on sales will depend on the merchant's specific product and target audience.
Which app is better for luxury goods?
Huski might be more suitable for luxury goods because it allows customers to experience the quality before purchasing. Resell Pro's bidding system may devalue luxury goods if customers consistently bid lower than the desired price.
Which app offers more control over pricing?
Huski offers more direct control over pricing, as the merchant sets the price of both the sample and the full product. Resell Pro relinquishes some control to customers through the bidding process, but the merchant can likely set minimum bid prices.
Which app is more geared toward new products and launches?
Huski's 'try before you buy' approach can be effective for introducing new products, allowing customers to sample and build confidence. Resell Pro could also be used for new products, but might be better suited for clearing out older inventory or attracting attention to less popular items.
