Our Verdict
HX: Hide Express Payments is ideal for merchants who believe that offering too many payment options confuses customers and leads to cart abandonment. If a merchant has data suggesting express payments aren't performing well or that customers are getting stuck at checkout due to numerous choices, this app could be beneficial. TryNow: Try Before You Buy, on the other hand, is suitable for businesses that sell products where a trial period would be valuable to customers, such as clothing, home goods, or certain electronics. The high rating and reviews suggest this app is more reliable and effective than HX: Hide Express Payments, given the lack of data for the latter. For most merchants seeking to improve conversions with payment options, TryNow likely represents a lower-risk option.
