Our Verdict
The choice between Hydrogen and Interakt depends entirely on the merchant's objectives and technical capabilities. If a merchant seeks complete control over their storefront's appearance and performance and has the development resources to implement a headless architecture, then Hydrogen is the superior choice. Its React-based framework and Oxygen hosting provide a powerful platform for building custom shopping experiences. However, for merchants primarily focused on expanding their reach and driving sales through WhatsApp, Interakt is the clear winner. Its ease of use and direct sales focus make it ideal for engaging with customers on their preferred messaging platform. Interakt's higher rating and significantly greater number of reviews suggest better overall user satisfaction for its intended purpose.
