Our Verdict
The best choice depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. If the primary concern is optimizing the overall checkout experience by controlling which payment and shipping methods are available based on various rules, then Hyper COD & Payment Methods is a better fit. This app offers broader customization options. However, if the dominant problem is fake COD orders and high return rates, OTP ‑ CoD Order Verification is the more targeted and effective solution. Its focus on pre-fulfillment order verification directly addresses those specific challenges. Given the limited number of reviews for both apps, it's crucial to consider trying both via free trials (if available) to assess their real-world performance within your specific store setup.
