Our Verdict
For merchants deeply concerned about stockouts and needing immediate alerts via email or Slack when stock levels are low, iAlert ‑ Low Stock Alert is the clear choice. It's a simple, focused solution for staying ahead of potential stock depletions. However, for merchants operating physical stores, particularly those already leveraging Shopify POS, PML Stock Take Inventory Count offers a more comprehensive solution. Its emphasis on barcode scanning, accurate stocktaking, and transfer management provides a robust inventory management system. If the focus is on preventing stockouts via proactive alerts, choose iAlert. If the focus is on accurate inventory counts and physical store management, choose PML Stock Take.
