Iconic Section: Theme Sections vs TinyBackup: Backups & restorefor Shopify (2026)
Iconic Section: Theme Sections and TinyBackup: Backups & Restore cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Iconic Section positions itself as a solution for merchants seeking to enhance their storefront's visual appeal and conversion rates through pre-designed sections and blocks, emphasizing ease of use and customization directly within the theme editor. It targets merchants who lack coding expertise or desire a faster way to create visually appealing and high-converting pages. TinyBackup, on the other hand, focuses on data security and disaster recovery. It provides automatic backups of store data, enabling merchants to restore their store to previous states in case of data loss or corruption. The primary difference lies in their core functionality: one is a design and layout tool, while the other is a data backup and recovery solution. Iconic Section's strength lies in its large library of sections, its ease of customization, and its built-in analytics. TinyBackup's strength is in its automated backup process, its detailed backup logs, and its ability to restore data to specific points in time. Choosing between them depends heavily on the merchant's priority: improving store design and conversion versus ensuring data security and recovery.
