The choice between idealo Connect and Selling Point is driven by the specific needs of the merchant. If the goal is to expand product visibility on the idealo marketplace and optimize product data feeds, idealo Connect is the clear choice. Its automated feed generation, data mapping, and tracking features are designed for this purpose. However, if the primary need is to migrate gift card or store credit data from an existing system to Shopify, Selling Point is the superior solution. Its focus on simplifying the migration process and saving time makes it ideal for merchants switching platforms or consolidating multiple gift card programs. A high rating and positive, while fewer in number, reviews speak to the app fulfilling this niche need.
