IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form vs Optimise Affiliate Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
IGF - Influencer Gift Form and Optimise Affiliate Marketing, while both falling under the 'Affiliate Programs' Shopify category, target very different aspects of influencer and affiliate marketing. IGF focuses on simplifying and automating the process of gifting products to influencers, streamlining the logistics of sample requests, giveaways, and employee gifts. Its strength lies in its ease of use, particularly its secure influencer checkout link that eliminates back-and-forth communication. Optimise Affiliate Marketing, on the other hand, aims to provide a comprehensive platform for managing partnerships and affiliate relationships, connecting merchants with a network of affiliates and influencers. Its focus is on performance tracking, reporting, and automation of affiliate campaign operations. The crucial difference lies in their scope. IGF addresses the operational pain point of fulfilling product requests from influencers and internal gifting, while Optimise provides a full-fledged affiliate management system. IGF seems targeted towards merchants wanting to quickly and efficiently get products into the hands of influencers who've expressed interest. Optimise is geared towards merchants actively building and managing a broader affiliate program, likely involving commission structures and active recruitment of partners. The lack of ratings and reviews for Optimise at this time is a significant factor to consider when evaluating the apps.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on streamlining the process of gifting products to influencers who have already expressed interest, IGF - Influencer Gift Form appears to be the stronger choice. Its high rating and positive reviews suggest it effectively solves the problem it addresses. The ease of use, centered around a secure checkout link, is a significant advantage. However, for merchants seeking a comprehensive solution for managing a larger affiliate network, including discovery, recruitment, and commission tracking, Optimise Affiliate Marketing *could* be a viable option. However, given the current lack of user reviews and ratings, proceeding with caution and thorough research would be advisable. A store with existing partnerships might be best suited to use Optimize to track them. A store just getting started should first use IGF.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
IGF appears to be easier to set up, focusing on a simple gifting process. Optimise requires integration with the Optimise Partner Platform, adding a layer of complexity.
Does either app handle commission payments to influencers?
IGF focuses on product gifting and doesn't explicitly mention commission payments. Optimise Affiliate Marketing tracks activities and awards a variety of commissions, making it suitable for commission-based affiliate programs.
Which app is better for small businesses with limited marketing budgets?
IGF is likely the better option for small businesses starting with influencer marketing. It is a simpler and direct solution focusing on product seeding. Optimise could be more expensive, given its platform aspect.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, yes. A merchant could use IGF for initial gifting and relationship-building, then transition to Optimise for formal affiliate program management with commission structures as the relationship matures.
What are the main risks of choosing Optimise given its lack of reviews?
Without reviews, it's difficult to assess the app's usability, reliability, customer support, and overall value. Merchants risk encountering bugs, integration issues, or unmet expectations. It is not clear whether the lack of reviews is because it is newly released or poorly received.
