IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form and ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels both aim to enhance the Shopify experience but target vastly different aspects of e-commerce. IGF focuses on streamlining influencer marketing and product seeding, automating the process of sending free products to influencers and employees. It simplifies order management, ensures accountability through consent forms, and eliminates the need for manual spreadsheets. Its strength lies in its niche application for merchants actively engaging in influencer collaborations and seeking efficiency in their gifting and sampling programs. The relatively low number of reviews (43) suggests it may be a newer or more narrowly focused application. ReelUp, on the other hand, centers on leveraging user-generated content (UGC) and video marketing to boost conversions. It allows merchants to easily import videos from TikTok and Instagram, showcasing them as shoppable content within their store through various eye-catching widgets. It addresses the need for visually engaging content and aims to increase time spent on site, improving SEO and driving sales through the power of social proof. Boasting significantly more reviews (228), ReelUp suggests a broader appeal and more established presence within the Shopify app ecosystem. Despite both apps sharing the 'Social proof' category, their approaches differ significantly; IGF uses influencer endorsements (product seeding) for social proof, while ReelUp uses video testimonials and UGC. Both apps have perfect 5/5 ratings, highlighting strong customer satisfaction.

Our Verdict
The choice between IGF and ReelUp hinges on a merchant's specific needs. IGF is the clear winner for businesses actively managing influencer marketing campaigns and requiring a streamlined system for product gifting and fulfillment. If you spend a significant amount of time managing influencer outreach, product seeding and manually tracking those gifts, IGF will save you time and money. ReelUp is better suited for merchants looking to enhance their store's visual appeal and leverage the power of video marketing and user-generated content to drive sales. If increasing time on site and improving SEO via engaging video content is a priority, ReelUp provides a compelling solution.
For a brand starting out, ReelUp might be more generally beneficial, especially if they aren't already engaged in influencer marketing. Established brands already running robust influencer programs would find the specific time-saving capabilities of IGF significantly more valuable.
