IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form vs SBK Influencer Affiliate Hubfor Shopify (2026)
IGF - Influencer Gift Form and SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub, while both potentially used in the context of influencer marketing, address distinct needs within that domain. IGF focuses on streamlining the product gifting process to influencers, simplifying the collection of shipping information, managing consent, and tracking fulfillment of gifted products. Its core strength lies in automating the operational aspects of gifting and seeding programs, removing manual processes like spreadsheets. It appears ideal for merchants actively engaging in gifting campaigns as a marketing strategy. SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub, on the other hand, positions itself within the affiliate program space. While limited information is provided, the category association suggests it provides tools for creating and managing affiliate programs, potentially including features like commission tracking, affiliate link generation, and performance reporting. Based on the available data, a key distinction is that SBK seems focused on performance-based compensation for influencers, while IGF is geared toward free product distribution. IGF has significantly more reviews (43) than SBK (2), suggesting greater adoption or a longer presence in the Shopify app ecosystem. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on building brand awareness and generating initial reviews by gifting products to influencers, IGF - Influencer Gift Form is the clearly superior choice. Its features are specifically designed for this purpose, automating the gifting process and reducing administrative overhead. The higher number of reviews also suggests a more established and reliable app.
However, for merchants aiming to drive sales through performance-based influencer marketing, where influencers are rewarded based on the sales they generate, SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub, or other affiliate program apps, would be more appropriate, assuming it offers the necessary tools for tracking and managing affiliate commissions. The low review count for SBK, however, warrants caution and further investigation before selecting it.
Common Questions
Does IGF offer affiliate tracking?
Based on the provided description, IGF does not offer affiliate tracking. It focuses on the free gifting of products to influencers, not performance-based commissions.
Can SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub be used to simply send free products to influencers?
While theoretically possible to use an affiliate program to 'gift' products with 100% commission, SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub is likely designed for affiliate relationships with performance-based payouts, making IGF a more appropriate solution for simple gifting.
Which app is easier to set up?
Given the focus on automating simple gifting, IGF is likely easier to set up compared to SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub, which likely requires setting up commission structures and tracking methods.
Which app is better for building brand awareness?
IGF is likely better for building brand awareness because it facilitates product gifting for reviews and exposure, whereas SBK Influencer Affiliate Hub is focused on driving sales performance.
Does the number of reviews indicate which app is better?
The higher number of reviews for IGF (43 vs 2 for SBK) suggests a greater user base and potentially a more mature and reliable product. However, it doesn't definitively indicate that one app is 'better' overall, as the best app depends on the specific needs of the merchant.
