Our Verdict
IGF - Influencer Gift Form is the better choice for merchants who are focused on building brand awareness and fostering relationships with influencers by gifting them products. Its automated gifting features and order tracking provide a streamlined approach to product seeding and influencer management. The existing reviews and high rating suggest reliability and user satisfaction. Sellencer Influencer Marketing is better suited for smaller to medium-sized businesses aiming for measurable sales growth through performance-based influencer marketing. Its affiliate link system allows merchants to pay only for results. However, the lack of reviews presents a risk, and the performance focus may not appeal to brands primarily seeking awareness.
Common Questions
What's the main difference between gifting and affiliate marketing?
Gifting focuses on giving free products in exchange for content or reviews, while affiliate marketing pays influencers a commission for sales generated through their unique links.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the description, IGF likely has a simpler setup because it focuses on automating internal processes. Sellencer may require more marketplace management and initial influencer recruitment from their marketplace.
Which app is better for tracking ROI?
Sellencer provides direct ROI tracking through affiliate links and sales data. IGF provides ROI tracking though order fulfillment and tracking, as well as T&Cs.
Which app is suitable for a new Shopify store with a limited budget?
Sellencer's performance-based payment structure may be more attractive to a new store with a limited budget, as you only pay when sales are generated, theoretically. However, no sales may mean no influencers, leading to no initial exposure. IGF requires budget to provide the gifted items, however, the influencers chosen might provide the product for free after they are gifted the items.
Does either app help me find influencers?
Sellencer implies access to an influencer marketplace, assisting in influencer discovery. IGF does not directly mention assisting with influencer discovery, but assists with product and order fulfillment.
