Common Questions
Which app has the biggest impact on SEO?
While Judge.me indirectly impacts SEO via user-generated content and increased click-through rates from star ratings, Ilana's JSON-LD for SEO (TM) is directly designed to improve SEO by adding proper structured data to your website, allowing you to qualify for rich results. For maximum impact, consider using both apps to leverage the benefits of structured data and social proof.
Which app is easier to use for someone new to SEO?
Judge.me is likely easier for beginners due to its straightforward focus on collecting and displaying reviews. Ilana's JSON-LD for SEO (TM) requires some understanding of structured data and Schema.org. Although Ilana's has a simplified training video, the knowledge investment is higher.
Which app is better for large e-commerce stores with thousands of products?
Both apps can be used for large e-commerce stores. However, Ilana's JSON-LD for SEO (TM)'s ability to automatically update Schema data across all product pages after theme changes is very important for stores with very large inventories and makes it especially valuable at scale. Judge.me's ability to collect and manage unlimited reviews is also ideal for larger stores.
Does Judge.me add structured data for reviews like Ilana's JSON-LD?
Yes, Judge.me does add structured data for reviews, allowing star ratings to appear in search results. However, Ilana's JSON-LD for SEO (TM) focuses on implementing a broader range of structured data, covering more aspects of the store and products, including business details, pricing, and availability.
Which app offers a more comprehensive solution for Google Merchant Center?
Ilana's JSON-LD for SEO (TM) is better suited for connecting all the Schema fields needed for Google Merchant Center, even without a feed. Judge.me focuses on review syndication to Google but does not manage the entire Google Merchant Center setup. For a store heavily reliant on Google Shopping, Ilana's is a better first choice.
