Our Verdict
ILS: Indian Logistics Services is the clear choice for Shopify merchants based in India needing to automate their shipping and logistics processes using local carriers. The integration with multiple Indian logistics providers, AWB generation, and label printing functionalities make it indispensable for efficient order fulfillment within the Indian market. The higher review count also suggests a more established user base and potentially a more robust solution for the challenges of Indian logistics.
Protect+ Post Purchase Suite is better suited for merchants globally who prioritize customer experience and brand loyalty, and who want to offer post-purchase protections like warranties and simplified returns. If customer retention and brand reputation are paramount, and the merchant is willing to offer refunds/exchanges readily, then Protect+ is a worthwhile investment. However, the relatively low number of reviews (only 2) compared to ILS suggests it is a newer or less adopted app, warranting further investigation before committing to it.
