ILS positions itself as a comprehensive logistics solution for Indian merchants, streamlining shipping processes using multiple Indian carriers. Its focus is on efficient order fulfillment, AWB generation, GST compliance, and real-time tracking. Return Rabbit, on the other hand, is a returns management app aimed at optimizing the return process to retain revenue and improve customer satisfaction. Our Verdict
ILS: Indian Logistics Services is the superior choice for Shopify merchants based in India needing a comprehensive shipping solution integrated with major Indian logistics providers. Its high rating and significant number of reviews suggest a proven track record of success in streamlining Indian shipping operations. This app is a strong fit for businesses prioritizing efficient outbound logistics, particularly those dealing with a high volume of orders requiring AWB generation, real-time tracking, and GST-compliant invoices.
Return Rabbit is best suited for businesses that prioritize customer experience surrounding returns and are focused on minimizing revenue loss from returns through exchanges and store credit. The lower rating raises some concerns about user satisfaction, but the focus on automation and data-driven insights may still appeal to businesses looking for a hands-off approach to returns management. The value here depends on the merchant's willingness to invest in automating the returns experience and potentially increasing revenue retention through incentives.
Common Questions

While ILS's high rating suggests ease of use, Return Rabbit explicitly mentions 'white-glove onboarding,' indicating a guided setup process.
Which app is better for a business shipping internationally from India?
Return Rabbit might be better for international returns due to its coverage of major carriers globally. However, ILS is focused on shipping *from* and *within* India.
Which app is more focused on compliance and legal requirements?
ILS is designed to generate GST-enabled invoices which would support tax compliance within India.
Does either app offer direct integration with accounting software?

Which app would be better for a new store with limited resources?
