Impact By Sale vs WeForestfor Shopify (2026)
Impact By Sale and WeForest both cater to Shopify merchants looking to integrate charitable giving into their business model and appeal to environmentally conscious customers in 2026. However, they differ in the scope of their impact and the evidence they provide. Impact By Sale offers a broader range of environmental initiatives, including tree planting, ocean cleanup, and rainforest protection. Their app emphasizes tangible, measurable results with vetted projects and robust storytelling. They also offer more donation options, like customer add-ons and round-ups. WeForest focuses solely on reforestation projects, providing a simpler integration for merchants primarily interested in combating climate change through tree planting. The critical distinction lies in the existing user feedback. Impact By Sale has a perfect 5-star rating based on 5 reviews, suggesting positive user experiences, while WeForest has no reviews and a 0/5 rating, making it difficult to assess its reliability and user-friendliness. Impact By Sale appeals to merchants who want diverse environmental projects, verifiable impact, and high customer engagement through storytelling. WeForest attracts merchants with reforestation as their sole sustainability goal seeking simple integration and a focus on climate change and biodiversity.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Impact By Sale currently appears to be the stronger option due to its positive user feedback and broader range of environmental projects. Merchants seeking diverse impacts and validated results will likely find Impact By Sale more appealing. However, for merchants solely focused on reforestation and seeking a simple, straightforward integration, WeForest may be suitable, provided they are willing to take a chance on an app with no current user reviews. Before committing to WeForest, merchants should closely examine its support resources and consider contacting the developers for a demo to ensure it meets their needs and expectations.
The current lack of reviews for WeForest presents a significant risk. While its focus on reforestation might be appealing to some, the absence of user feedback makes it difficult to assess its reliability and ease of use. Impact By Sale's established user base and positive reviews offer greater assurance, making it the safer and more recommended choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026.
