IndiaMART Product Sourcing vs Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demandfor Shopify (2026)
IndiaMART Product Sourcing and Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demand, while both listed under "Sourcing options" in the Shopify app store, cater to drastically different merchant needs. IndiaMART Product Sourcing focuses on connecting merchants directly with manufacturers and wholesalers for sourcing raw materials and finished goods across a vast range of product categories (over 100,000). Its core strength lies in enabling direct negotiation with suppliers, potentially leading to better pricing and control over sourcing. The absence of user reviews, however, raises concerns about its reliability and user-friendliness. In contrast, Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demand offers a dropshipping model focused on print-on-demand products. Inkedjoy's strength is its ease of use, custom branding options (no minimum order quantity), and established positive reputation as reflected by its 5-star rating and 107 reviews. It allows merchants to sell custom-designed products without holding inventory, handling printing, or shipping. The key difference lies in the sourcing model: IndiaMART connects you with potential suppliers, while Inkedjoy provides a ready-to-sell product range and fulfillment service. One requires active negotiation and management of suppliers and shipping, while the other emphasizes ease of use and brand customization within the POD framework.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking direct control over sourcing, access to a massive catalog of products and raw materials, and the ability to negotiate directly with suppliers, IndiaMART Product Sourcing *could* be an option. However, the complete lack of reviews presents a significant risk. Merchants should thoroughly vet any suppliers found through the platform. On the other hand, Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demand is the clearly superior choice for merchants looking to quickly launch a branded print-on-demand store without managing inventory or fulfillment. Its high rating, numerous reviews, and focus on ease of use make it a reliable and attractive option for those seeking a low-risk entry into e-commerce.
Given the information available, Inkedjoy is the recommended application for most Shopify merchants due to its established positive reputation, ease of use, and comprehensive print-on-demand fulfillment service. IndiaMART should only be considered by experienced merchants comfortable with independent supplier vetting and management, willing to take on the risk associated with an unproven app.

Which app is better for creating a branded store?
