Infinite Product Options vs Kiwi Size Chart & Recommenderfor Shopify (2026)
Infinite Product Options and Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender, while sharing the 'Custom products' and 'Product variants' categories on Shopify, address fundamentally different needs for merchants. Infinite Product Options focuses on providing extensive product customization options, allowing shoppers to personalize products through text inputs, dropdowns, swatches, and conditional logic. Its strength lies in enabling merchants to offer highly customizable products, increasing average order value by adding bundles or surcharges based on customer selections. The app has been around for over nine years and boasts a large number of reviews (1989), suggesting strong market acceptance and a track record of reliability. Its US-based support team adds another layer of appeal. This makes it primarily suited for businesses selling customizable goods. Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender, on the other hand, is dedicated to resolving sizing issues, particularly in the apparel and accessories industries. It provides tools to create and display size charts, guides, and AI-powered fit recommendations. Its value proposition is to reduce returns by helping customers choose the correct size, ultimately increasing sales. It focuses on a different aspect of product presentation and purchase journey. While it has a solid rating, its lower review count (843) compared to Infinite Product Options may suggest a more niche user base. The ability to import size charts, perform unit conversions, and offer personalized size recommendations makes it ideal for businesses in the fashion, accessories, or other industries where sizing is crucial.

Our Verdict
The choice between Infinite Product Options and Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant sells customizable products like engraved jewelry, personalized gifts, or items with varied options, Infinite Product Options is the clear winner. Its feature set directly addresses the need to offer these kinds of products. If, however, a merchant sells apparel, shoes, or other items where sizing is a major concern for customers, Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender is the better choice. While both apps fall within the 'Custom products' category, they serve distinct purposes related to enhancing customer satisfaction and boosting sales through different avenues.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
Infinite Product Options is better for increasing average order value because it allows merchants to bundle add-on products to specific option selections, effectively upselling customers during the customization process.
Which app is better for reducing product returns?
Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender is specifically designed to reduce product returns by providing customers with accurate size charts, guides, and personalized size recommendations, helping them choose the right size the first time.
Can I use Infinite Product Options to create a size chart?
While you *could* theoretically use Infinite Product Options to display a limited size chart as a dropdown or radio button option, it's not its intended purpose. Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender provides far more robust and flexible options for creating comprehensive size charts and guides.
Does Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender allow for product customization?
No, Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender primarily focuses on providing sizing information and recommendations. It does not offer tools for general product customization like Infinite Product Options does.
Which app is easier to set up and use for a beginner?
Without direct user feedback on ease-of-use, it's difficult to say definitively. However, considering that Kiwi Size Chart focuses on a narrower set of features, configuring it for apparel sizing might be simpler for a complete beginner than the more complex options present in the Infinite Product Options app. However, the USA based support of Infinite Product Options might prove very valuable.
